There are so many men in scriptures that it can start to feel like women are overlooked.

But the scriptures are filled with stories of women—over 500 women are mentioned and many of them are incredible examples of faith and strength.

And so many of their stories are so much like ours:

Sarah and Hagar seem to wrestle with comparison; Rebekah turned to God when she had questions about motherhood; Miriam was faithful but also made mistakes; Martha tried to follow Christ’s teachings but sometimes got distracted.

Studying these women and their experiences can bring perspective and a powerful spirit into our lives.
